How can hybrid working methods be introduced in an interdisciplinary team to strengthen social sustainability in the organization, and how can one simultaneously address the individual and collective challenges of the employees?
Clear goals for a digital future
Our process support focused on introducing hybrid work models and supporting social sustainability in the Digitalization Department of the DAAD. In a series of workshops, we jointly developed concepts that consider both the team's hybrid working method and the organization of hybrid events.
Humor and creativity as catalysts
We applied principles and tools of 'New Work' to provide impulses for the team's further development and to clearly define common goals. The digital workshops proved valuable because the creative methods and humorous approaches used offered the team the opportunity to reflect on their own roles. Through these participatory methods, hidden challenges and potentials, including team dynamics and specific work requirements, were made visible.
From vision to action
The result of our collaboration is a customized action guide. This includes not only the team's goals for digitalization but also detailed guidance for agile management and deep insights into team reflections. For the decentralized team, the guide forms a solid foundation for future hybrid working methods and lays the groundwork for sustainable success.
