At a hackathon, we developed the concept of the AI-based app Skilly, which supports junior doctors in their day-to-day clinical work by providing personalized, guideline-based answers to case-related questions. An in-depth interview is a qualitative research method in which researcher gains in-depth insights into participant’s individual experiences, opinions and perspectives. In contrast to standardized questions, the focus is on an open exchange which allows to delve deeper into individual needs, emotions and motivations. We use this method to explore unique perspectives that may not be as accessible through other research methods.

A co-creation workshop is a collaborative event where stakeholders, often including both users and designers, come together to jointly generate ideas, solutions, or products. Through interactive sessions and group activities, participants offer their expertise and unique perspectives to create innovative and holistic solutions.

Stakeholder analysis is a set of methods for identifying, analysing and visualising the various players (stakeholders) involved in a particular project, company or initiative. The aim is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the interest groups and to clarify their relationships with each other as well as their potential influence. The method typically involves creating a graphical representation, often in the form of a map or matrix, on which the different stakeholders are placed according to their importance, interests and influence.
