Introduction

In order to develop products and services in the healthcare sector, tailor-made research findings are required to help us and our customers make the right decisions in the development process. Depending on the challenge, we bring together different perspectives in our projects. Above all, we are interested in:

1. The perspective of doctors and health workers

2. The Patient's Perspective

3. The impact a product or process has on health and society

4. The market perspective

5. Looking to the future (foresight and sustainability)

We develop customized UX for health products and services.

Certain values are particularly important to us in our work. We are committed to a solidary, inclusive society, to the protection of the environment, and to the rights of future generations. In our Health UX area, ideas of equality in the workplace, the inclusive design of interfaces and the sustainable development of health technologies are incorporated here.

Selected Projects

We bring our expertise in designing user experiences for healthcare products and services, particularly in collaboration with technology companies, both in the concrete implementation of solutions and in research.

We focus on the user experience. This applies to product development in radiology as well as to playful approaches of AI-supported health applications. Our experience ranges from digital health services and state-of-the-art medical technology products to sustainable future studies in the healthcare sector.

    Upskilling instead of Deskilling

At a hackathon, we developed the concept of the AI-based app Skilly, which supports junior doctors in their day-to-day clinical work by providing personalized, guideline-based answers to case-related questions. In this way, Skilly promotes efficient learning directly at the workplace and helps to deepen knowledge in a practical way.

    • Topics: Artificial Intelligence, Health, Education, and New Work
    • Key Actors: Junior Doctors
    • Outputs: Product Vision, UX-Concept, and UX Flow

Anne is responsible for everything related to HR and has been ensuring the realization of upcoming projects and the strategic development of the company since the beginning. With her skills in implementing user interfaces, digital products at KITE can be realized with high quality, and the associated responsibility for quality assurance and aesthetics. She has been working on research and freelance projects since 2008, in which she explores possible futures of human-machine interaction. Depending on the scenario, context, resources, and user group, the studied interface designer proposes appropriate concepts and technologies for implementation - whether it's a "classic" graphical user interface, augmented reality, control via gestures, voice, gaze, or the use of machine learning principles. In doing so, she builds on the knowledge of those involved, and existing structures, as well as established rituals and best practices in the respective and related industries. She has so far planned and executed projects in the areas of digital education, health, e-governance, living, industrial manufacturing processes, and communication technologies.
